Captain Mark Mathieu, owner and operator of Kingfisher Charters, has dedicated his life to fishing on Lake Michigan. His passion began as a young angler, spending countless hours learning the rhythms of the water and the behavior of the lake’s many species. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong pursuit, giving him decades of hands-on experience and an unmatched understanding of the lake. Today, with more than 30 years of guiding under his belt, Captain Mark is proud to share his expertise with every guest who steps aboard his boat.

Powered by a reliable 270HP Yamaha engine with a cruising speed of 30 knots, the boat combines strength with efficiency.
